I’m passionate about design and music, it’s always a pleasure when I get the opportunity to marry the two together for cover art or an event poster! Here are a few pieces I’ve been lucky enough to work on over the years.

Secret 7”

Secret 7” takes 7 tracks from 7 of the best-known musicians around and presses each one 100 times to 7” vinyl. They then openly invite graphic designers to create artwork for the 7 tracks.

My artwork submission is for The Internet’s track ‘Come Over’. An ‘active mind, static body’ is being in a state of too much over-thinking and not enough doing. When in this state, your thoughts are at the mercy of another person’s control. I created a visual representation which seeks to reflect this.

Iron Gate Records

Working with dub, reggae, dancehall and grime artists from Jamaica and Europe, Iron Gate Records has always maintained a connection to roots even as it has sought to reinterpret and develop new sounds. I teamed up with them to design a set of limited-edition CD covers for their Cornerstone EP featuring artwork by the talented Tom Malek.
